Introduction to the Work Focus of the Northern Metropolitan Area in the Second Half of the Year by the Special Administrative Region Government, including Land Acquisition and Engineering Progress in Gudong North/Fanling North and Hongshuiqiao/Xiacun New Development Zone; Planning work for Xintian Technology City, as well as several new development areas including Liufushan, Niutanwei, Machaolong, and Xinshi Town in the northern New Territories; Tendering for the land of multi story modern industrial buildings; Solicitation of intentions for the development of Shaling Chuangke land and subsequent work, as well as the "zone development" model. The delegation of the Shenzhen Municipal Government accompanied the delegation of the Special Administrative Region Government to visit Shenzhen Shatoujiao, BYD Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Energy Environmental Protection Longgang Energy Ecological Park after the meeting. Huang Weilun said that accelerating the implementation of the development of the northern metropolitan area will help to make good use of and strengthen the synergies with Shenzhen and other cities in the Greater Bay Area, further promote economic and social interaction and integration between the two places, and enable Hong Kong to fully integrate into the overall national development.
