Cambodia's Sihanouk Port Special Economic Zone (West Port Special Economic Zone) held an exhibition on the achievements of the West Port Special Economic Zone in the 10th anniversary of the "the Belt and Road" initiative on the 22nd, attended by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian. In his speech at the opening ceremony of the achievement exhibition, Hun Sen pointed out that since the "the Belt and Road" initiative was put forward ten years ago, the West Harbor Special Zone has flourished. Now 175 enterprises have settled in, providing 30000 jobs for Cambodia. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and China and the Year of Friendship between Cambodia and China. The traditional friendship between Cambodia and China is unbreakable. For a long time, China has supported the development of various fields in Cambodia, and Cambodia China cooperation has truly benefited the Cambodian people. Wang Wentian said that the Xigang Special Economic Zone is a model project for China Cambodia practical cooperation in the "the Belt and Road" initiative. The Special Economic Zone has become the "locomotive" for the economic development of Sihanoukville Province and the "golden bowl" for local people to become rich through hard work. Over the past decade, China and Cambodia have adhered to the principle of joint consultation, construction and sharing, and jointly built the "the Belt and Road" with high quality.
