On April 22nd, the second China (Wuhan) Cultural Tourism Expo opened in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Li Shulei, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, attended the opening ceremony and announced its opening. The theme of this expo is "Beautiful China and a Better Life", highlighting the use of culture to shape tourism, tourism to highlight culture, innovation driven, technology empowerment, open cooperation, and shared development. It focuses on showcasing new models, new formats, and new scenarios for the integration of culture and tourism in the construction of a strong country and the new journey of national rejuvenation. The expo has one main venue, six sub venues, one cloud trading and broadcasting platform, and a series of cultural and tourism product fairs. The total exhibition area is 80000 square meters, with over 2000 domestic and foreign cultural and tourism exhibitors, as well as 15 national cultural and tourism authorities and international tourism institutions from France, Germany, South Korea, Portugal, Serbia, Thailand, and the United States participating. The Expo sets up the "Great Beauty China Pavilion", integrating representative elements of national parks and cultural parks, showcasing the beauty of China's ecology and culture. The theme pavilions and exhibition areas such as the "Hubei Pavilion for the Meeting of Mountain and Water Friends" showcase the diverse natural and cultural landscapes of various parts of the country, showcasing Hubei's profound historical and cultural heritage and innovative achievements in cultural tourism technology. The World River Civilization Museum and the International Tourism and Shopping Exhibition Area showcase the colorful civilizations of the world and key cultural tourism resources of various countries. The expo also holds a series of cultural and artistic activities, art auctions, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and online live streaming sales, attracting active participation from domestic and foreign enterprises, institutions, and the general public. This Expo is a 3-day event jointly hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the People's Government of Hubei Province. (New News Agency)
