This is the first time Shenzhen has co hosted a design week with an international authoritative design agency, and it is also the first time that the Central Radio and Television Station has directly supported and co hosted it, fully reflecting the improvement of the authority and influence of Shenzhen Design Week. During the exhibition, a "8+21+N" three-dimensional and matrix activity system will be created, with 8 themed activities, 21 series of key activities, and N sub venue star exhibition hall activities as the main content. The system combines a global perspective with Shenzhen characteristics, aims at the forefront of design, highlights technology integration, strengthens industrial empowerment, and reflects urban temperament. Liu Wenbin, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee Office of Shenzhen Design Week, as the main publisher, introduced the preparations and distinctive highlights of this Shenzhen Design Week. Zheng Xuan, a first-class researcher from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Ding Qiang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, and Zhang Yuxing, an academic member of Shenzhen Design Week, answered questions from reporters. Han Wangxi, the second level inspector of the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, presided over the press conference. The "City of Design" in Shenzhen has been 15 years. In 2008, Shenzhen was approved to join the Global Creative Cities Network and was awarded the title of "City of Design" by UNESCO. Shenzhen is the first city in China to join this network, and also the first developing country city in the world to receive this honorary title. This year marks the 15th anniversary of Shenzhen's winning the title of "City of Design". Shenzhen Design Week is the most important brand activity for the construction of "City of Design" in Shenzhen, and also a powerful starting point for the high-quality development of Shenzhen's culture. Liu Wenbin introduced that this design week adheres to the "four dimensional" design concept, grafting world design with Shenzhen's kinetic energy. Focusing on the four dimensions and development paths of "design empowers industrial innovation and development, leads fashion consumption trends, creates urban marketing brands, and solves urban governance challenges," design is continuously integrated into all aspects of industrial development, urban construction, social services, and people's lives, promoting the harmonious coexistence of people, society, and nature, and meeting the growing needs of people for a better life.
