The opening ceremony of the China Pavilion of the 39th Panama International Trade Expo was held at the Panama Convention and Exhibition Center on the 28th, with the largest Chinese exhibition group participating. Panama International Trade Expo is one of the most important trade exhibitions in Central America and even the entire Latin America region. According to the organizer, this exhibition lasts for 3 days and has over 600 exhibitors from around the world participating. According to the data provided by the organizer, out of a total of 500 booths, the Chinese exhibition group occupied 186 seats, with the main exhibitors from Guangdong and Zhejiang. Wei Qiang, Chinese Ambassador to Panama, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that the Chinese exhibition team has actively participated in the exhibition, which has become a good example of China's economic development and promotion of international cooperation. In an interview, Marcella Garrindo, President of the Panamanian Chamber of Agriculture and Industry, said that the success of the Panama International Trade Expo largely benefited from the long-term large-scale participation of Chinese enterprises.
