Recently, with the approval of Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the founding meeting of Guangdong Provincial Green Trade Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Green Trade Standardization Committee") was held in Guangzhou. The Green Trade Standards Committee is jointly guided by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It is composed of 34 well-known experts from universities, scientific research institutions, leading enterprises and other fields. Its secretariat is located in the Guangdong International Commercial Certification Center for the Promotion of International Trade. It is the first technical organization established in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to promote the construction of the green trade standards system and standardization activities. In recent years, the situation of green trade barriers encountered in China's export trade has been on the rise, and relevant enterprises have suffered great economic losses and unfair treatment. The Green Trade Standards Committee will focus on the new business forms and new models of sustainable trade services, green trade, digital economy, etc., study and issue the relevant standards of green trade in Guangdong Province, improve the standardized guarantee of green development and build a green trade system, strengthen the exploration of international standard benchmarking and mutual recognition of green trade, promote the high-quality development of foreign trade in the province, and help Guangdong enterprises cope with green trade barriers, Improve the level of green trade services and market competitiveness.
