Recently, the author learned from the Provincial Market Supervision Administration that in recent years, Guangdong has fully implemented the "four strictest" requirements, vigorously promoted food safety governance, and the food safety situation in the province has been stable and good. The people's satisfaction with food safety has reached more than 80 points, the qualification rate of food safety evaluation spot check has stabilized at more than 98%, and the qualification rate of routine monitoring of agricultural product quality and safety has remained at more than 98%. No major or above food safety accidents have occurred. In 2019, the Opinions on Deepening Reform and Strengthening Food Safety was issued. Guangdong actively promoted the establishment of food safety demonstration cities and agricultural product quality safety counties in the province according to the principle of layering and step-by-step. Up to now, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have won the title of "National Food Safety Demonstration City", Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen have won the title of "Guangdong Food Safety Demonstration City", 12 counties (cities and districts) including Yunfu, Jiangmen, Panyu District and Gaoming District have been named as "National Agricultural Product Quality Safety County (City)", Shanwei, Dongguan, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhaoqing and Zengcheng District, Guangzhou 28 counties (cities and districts), including Bao'an District of Shenzhen City, are building national agricultural product quality safety counties (cities) or food safety demonstration cities (counties) in Guangdong Province. The "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" for the modernization of market supervision in Guangdong Province proposes that by 2025, 10 cities above prefecture level in the province will meet the standards for building food safety demonstration cities, and 30 counties (cities and districts) will meet the standards for building agricultural product quality safety counties and food safety demonstration counties. The Provincial Food and Drug Safety Office formulated and issued the Notice on the Evaluation and Management Measures for Food Safety Demonstration Cities (Counties) in Guangdong Province, the Detailed Rules for the Evaluation of Food Safety Demonstration Cities (Counties) in Guangdong Province, and the Work Plan for the Evaluation and Acceptance of the Creation of Food Safety Demonstration Cities (Counties) in Guangdong Province. It also organized the evaluation and acceptance of cities (counties) that reached the creation standard in the initial evaluation, and summarized the innovation highlights obtained by each city (county), Form experience and practice, and print and distribute it to the whole province for reference. At present, Guangzhou takes the lead in establishing an organic food and drug crime investigation team, which has solved 1.4 cases per day in the past three years, with a total amount of 3.5 billion yuan involved. Shenzhen has established a standard system for deep food supply covering the whole chain from farmland to table, issued 567 "Shenzhen products", and formulated 399 standards for deep food supply groups. Foshan took the lead in introducing centralized management measures for small food production and processing workshops to promote the park based construction and intensive development of small food workshops. Huizhou took the lead in realizing that all agricultural inspection centers above the county level have passed the qualification certification of provincial laboratories and the assessment of agricultural product quality and safety testing institutions in the province.
