The reporter learned from the National Space Administration that at 9:15 on December 7, the Kuaozhou 11 solid carrier rocket ignited and lifted off at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center of China, successfully putting the cloud transport VDES test satellite into the scheduled orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. The main structure of the whole Kuaozhou 11 solid carrier rocket is made of carbon fiber composite materials, and the capacity of 700 km solar synchronous orbit is not less than 1 ton. The overall technical level has reached the international advanced level of solid carrier rocket. This type of rocket has the characteristics of "mobile test docking, mobile launch, mobile cloud measurement and control", and has the capability of fast launch, and can adapt to diverse launch tasks. As a new member of the family of fast boat series solid launch vehicles, the carrying capacity of fast boat 11 launch vehicles has increased by about 5 times compared with fast boat 1A, which has realized the leapfrog development of fast boat series launch vehicles. It can better meet the needs of large-scale, high-density and rapid launch of satellites, and will strongly drive the development of solid launch vehicles and their power technology in China. After successfully entering orbit, the cloud transport VDES test satellite is mainly used to carry out technical verification of VDES payload (VHF Data Exchange System, VHF Data Exchange System), which will provide guarantee for maritime emergency, safety supervision, etc. The National Space Administration is responsible for the approval of the project development of the Kuanzhou XI solid carrier rocket project. China Aerospace Science and Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the overall research and development of the project, and its affiliated China Aerospace Sanjiang Group Co., Ltd. undertakes the overall research and development task.
