Both sides should inherit and carry forward the tradition of friendship, understand and support each other's core interests and major concerns, seek common ground while reserving differences, expand consensus, and set an example for countries with different social systems and cultural backgrounds to develop relations. China adheres to a high level of opening up, is willing to import more Italian high-quality products, and welcomes Italy to be the guest of honor of the 2023 China International Consumer Goods Expo. The two sides should focus on the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics to strengthen ice and snow sports and industrial cooperation. The Chinese side is willing to agree that the Chinese side will continue to strengthen communication and coordination in the G20 and other multilateral platforms, deepen solidarity and cooperation, promote genuine multilateralism, and work together to address major challenges such as the global economy. Under the current situation, it is of great significance to promote the stability of China EU relations. It is hoped that Italy will play an important role in the EU's adherence to the independent and active policy towards China. Both Italy and China are ancient civilizations with a long history of friendly exchanges. Italy is satisfied with the activities of the Year of Culture and Tourism and is willing to continue to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in trade, culture and other fields. The Italian side does not agree with camp confrontation and believes that all countries should respect each other's differences and differences, strengthen solidarity, commit to dialogue and exchanges and enhance mutual understanding. China is a major country in the world, and Asia is playing a more and more important role in the world. The Italian side hopes to work closely with China under the framework of the United Nations, the Group of 20 and other countries to more effectively address various urgent challenges facing the world today.
