Over the past half century, the healthy and smooth development of Sino Western relations has been rooted in the fact that both sides have adhered to the original intention of establishing diplomatic relations based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and adhere to the correct path of friendly coexistence between countries with different cultures and systems. China's promotion of Chinese path to modernization and its adherence to high-quality development will bring new development opportunities to all countries in the world, including Spain. China is willing to work with the West to push China West comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level. The two sides should understand and support each other on issues related to each other's core interests such as sovereignty, security, development and dignity. We should make good preparations for the Year of Chinese and Western Culture and Tourism, so as to make Chinese and Western friendship deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. We will vigorously promote practical cooperation, welcome more Spanish enterprises and goods to enter the Chinese market, and hope that the West will give Chinese enterprises fair, just, transparent and non discriminatory market treatment. China is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with Spain on multilateral platforms such as the G20 to jointly address climate change, energy and food security and other challenges. It is hoped that Spain will play a positive role in promoting the healthy and stable development of China EU relations. China has always been a stabilizing force for the international order. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties nearly 50 years ago, bilateral cooperation has yielded fruitful results. The West is willing to take the opportunity of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between the West and China to achieve greater development. The West is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with China, promote exchanges and cooperation in trade, investment, people to people and cultural exchanges, and tackling climate change, and provide more convenience for Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Spain.
